I’m slowly starting to get the hang of this short hair thing. At first it looked a bit dramatic and unsettling *considering I haven’t had my hair this length since the 5th grade* but after blow drying and putting a full face of make up on, that’s when the color and length really began to show. It gives off a mature vibe and accentuates my outfits by adding the perfect touch of chic. I almost want to say I never will grow my hair out again (well that might be a little extreme, but for now I’m loving short)! Thanks to my awesome sister in-law hairstylist 🙂

Sunday Funday’s outfit was full of ruffles, fringes and pops of color. The mint off the shoulder cropped top was from the Zara Summer Sale! Although I’m not really a fan of cropped tops (since I clearly don’t have a six pack) the color and style really caught my attention and I was lucky enough to snag the last one in my size. The high-waist wide-leg frayed hem (there’s a mouth full) jeans from Forever are honestly perfect if you want to wear denim that are a bit more comfortable and fun. Since the outfit looked rather mono-toned, I accessorized my choppy hair with a contrasting silk bandana scarf (from Zara’s 2016 collection) tied it around my bun and voila! The burnt orange Zara slip ons complimented my hair accessory in order to complete the pop of color look. Since the entire outfit consisted of solid colors, I threw in an old gem- Henri Bendel classic striped clutch for some pattern! Perfect summery ensemble for a cute and girly feel 🙂 If you ever feel like your outfit is looking dull, don’t be afraid to accessorize and play around with complimenting or contrasting colors!
